Aberlour Fairtrade launch

“Let’s Make Aberlour a Fair Trade Town!” – these were the words on a brightly coloured banner made by Aberlour Primary school children for the Aberlour Fair Trade Town Coffee Morning in the Fleming Hall. The Coffee Morning was a joint venture by many groups seeking Fair Trade Town status for Aberlour. Aberlour Fairtarde Campaign Launch – 21 September 2013

Aberlour is launching a campaign to become a Fair Trade Town, starting with a Coffee Morning in the Fleming Hall on Saturday 21st September from 10am – 12. Moray Pupils for Fair Trade

FARMER’S MARKET SATURDAY 16 MARCH It was cold! Scotland achieves fair trade nation status

Humza Yousaf MSP, Minister for External Relations and International Development, announced today (25th Feb 2013) that Scotland has met the criteria to be a Fair Trade Nation. Moray has been part of this success. In order to achieve Fair Trade nation status each area in Scotland has to be working towards achieving Fair Trade area status – which we are indeed doing in Moray. Schools to showcase Fairtrade to local Councillors

Children from two Moray schools will be showcasing Fair Trade to Moray councillors as part of Moray’s Fairtrade Fortnight 2013 celebrations.
